Triceps Kickback
Straightens the elbow behind you to work the back of the upper arm — the muscle you use to push up from a chair.
How to do it
- Stand next to a sturdy chair. Step your left foot forward with the middle of the EZband under it.
- Rest your left hand on the chair and hinge slightly forward.
- Hold the band in your right hand. Bend your right elbow and pull it back so your upper arm is alongside your body.
- Keeping your upper arm still, straighten your elbow, pressing your hand back.
- Pause, then bend slowly back to the start.
- Do 8–10 reps, then switch sides.
Form tips
- Only the forearm moves — the upper arm stays still.
- Squeeze the back of your arm at the end.
- Don't lock the elbow hard.
Using your EZband
Band under the front foot, held in the working hand. Shorten your grip for more resistance.
Beginner modifications
- Stand upright with no hinge.
- Do it seated, leaning slightly forward.
Safety notes
- Keep a steady hand on the chair.
- Stop if you feel elbow pain.
