Shoulder External Rotation
Rotates the forearms outward to strengthen the small muscles that help keep the shoulders healthy.
How to do it
- Stand or sit tall. Bend both elbows to 90 degrees, tucked against your sides, forearms pointing forward.
- Hold the EZband between your hands, palms facing up, hands about shoulder-width apart.
- Keeping your elbows glued to your sides, rotate your forearms outward, stretching the band.
- Pause, then return slowly.
- Do 10–12 reps.
Form tips
- Tuck a small rolled towel between each elbow and your side to keep elbows in.
- This is a small movement — that's normal.
- Keep your wrists straight.
Using your EZband
Band held between your hands. Use the Light band — these muscles are small.
Beginner modifications
- Work one arm at a time, holding one end of the band still with the other hand.
- Do it seated.
Safety notes
- Stop if you feel pain deep in the shoulder.
- Keep the range small and comfortable.
