Shoulder Pass-Through
A slow overhead arc that gently loosens the shoulders and chest.
How to do it
- Stand or sit tall. Hold the EZband in front of your hips with both hands very wide apart, palms down.
- Keeping your arms straight, slowly raise the band in front of you and overhead.
- Only go as far as is comfortable. If your shoulders allow it, continue the arc behind you.
- Slowly return the same way to the start.
- Do 6–8 slow reps.
Form tips
- The wider your hands, the easier it is.
- Keep your ribs down and your back from arching.
- This is a mobility move — it should feel like a stretch, not a strain.
Using your EZband
Hold the band with a very wide grip. This move uses the band for guidance more than resistance — the Light band is ideal.
Beginner modifications
- Go only to overhead, not behind.
- Go only to shoulder height.
- Do it seated.
Safety notes
- Skip this one if you have a shoulder injury or have had shoulder surgery, unless your clinician has cleared it.
- Never force the range.
