Seated Ankle Mobility
Points and flexes the foot against the band to keep ankles moving well and support steady walking.
How to do it
- Sit tall in a sturdy chair and straighten one leg in front of you, heel resting on the floor.
- Wrap the middle of the EZband around the ball of that foot and hold one end in each hand.
- Gently press your toes away from you, like pressing a gas pedal.
- Pause, then slowly pull your toes back toward you.
- Repeat 10 times, then switch feet.
Form tips
- Keep your hands close to your body and your elbows relaxed.
- Move through a comfortable range — no forcing.
- Finish with a few slow ankle circles without the band.
Using your EZband
Band around the ball of the foot, ends held in your hands. Use the Light band.
Beginner modifications
- Rest the leg on a low stool if straightening it is uncomfortable.
- Use less band tension by holding the ends farther from your foot.
Safety notes
- Hold the band securely so it can't slip off your foot.
- Stop if you feel cramping in the calf or foot; rest and try again more gently.
